Along the NW Maui coast is a beautiful bay, hugging the coast of protected Hawaiian land. If the direction is right, swells sneak in between the islands of Molokai and Lanai to break perfectly into the bay. I won my first world title here, and a few more since. Here I am riding a Gerry Lopez single fin, right after I competed in a contest. A favourite moment of my entire surfing life.
